  2. Hope and Roper surpassed the state average of 57.9 (% proficient) for reading in 2001.
  3. Hope and Roper were in the range of the state average of 68.2 (% proficient) on the Writing test in 2001.
  4. The Grade 7 Writing test was administered for the first time in 2001. It replaced a Math test, which is currently administered in Grade 8.
